Program of the trip from Marrakech to Ourika Valley:

With its numerous waterfalls, Ourika Valley is one of Morocco’s most beautiful valleys, and this 1-day trip from Marrakech will take you there. Situated approximately 30 km to the south of Marrakech, it takes one hour to drive there.

We will travel through the Haouz plain and sink along the Ourika River, which runs through it year-round, en route to the high Atlas.

During our day trip, we will visit a Berber family who will open their home to us so that we can learn about their customs and the local way of life. We will also make numerous stops to snap pictures of the Berber villages nestled in the High Atlas Mountains’ foothills.

We’re going to stay in the valley and make a stop at a ladies-only local cooperative that sells argan oil. Afterward, continue to the road’s end in the village of Setti Fatma, which is located roughly 1500 meters above sea level. Here, you will have the chance to explore the most exquisite and quaint villages in Setti Fatma.

We will find various Setti Fatma cascades there. We will hike for a while and then return to the village to eat a delicious traditional lunch at a restaurant that is conveniently close to the river.
