Itinerary Tour from Agadir to Chefchaouen
Day 1: Agadir to Marrakech
Your driver will collect you from your Agadir hotel and take you to Marrakech. Then, you will begin your 6-day Agadir to Chefchaouen desert tour.
Following a two-hour drive, we will arrive in the Red City, where we will meet our local guide in the medina to assist with our exploration and visits to some of the area’s most well-known landmarks and attractions, including the renowned Majorelle Garden and El Bahia Palace.
We will spend the day meandering through the cobblestone streets and ancient souks of Marrakech. After that, we will spend the evening wandering through the bustling square of Jemaa El Fna, where we will come across storytellers, henna artists, snake charmers, and musicians.
Our driver will deliver you to your hotel or other lodging at the end of the day.
Day 2: Marrakech to Ait ben Haddou & Dades Valley
We will pick you up from your Marrakech hotel on the second day of our 6-day Agadir to Chefchaouen desert tour, and we will drive you through the winding passes and adventurous roads of TIZI N TICHKA.
We will first travel through the magnificent thousand Kasbahs on our way to Ait Benhaddou. After arriving at Ait Benhaddou, we will go on a tour and see one of the most exquisite fortified royal palaces. We will then drive to Ouarzazate, the entrance to the Royal Sahara, where we will explore and meander through its historic Souks and alleyways, after eating lunch in a traditional Berber restaurant.
Following that, we will take a tour of the magnificent Ouarzazate Film Studio, the set of many well-known television shows and films, including Gladiator, Babel, Game of Thrones, and The Jewel of the Nile. After that, we head towards Dades Valley, passing through the intriguing Valley of Roses and the lovely Palmary of Skoura. As soon as we arrive in Dades Valley, we will see a stunning green paradise. We will eat our customary Berber dinner and then stay the night in a charming hotel in the area.
Day 3: Dades Valley to the Sahara Desert – Camel Ride
We will begin our third day with breakfast in the stunning natural setting before heading out towards Todra Gorges, also known as “the magnificent Canyons of Morocco.” We will take you on a stroll through its orange cliff-sided canyons where you will discover the ideal fusion of Atlas Mountains and quaint Desert. Then, we will continue with our 6-day desert tour from Agadir to Chefchaouen, stopping along the way to see the Sahara Rissani and its vibrant market and ancient culture. Additionally, we would take a tour of the old village to get a true sense of Moroccan architecture.
The golden village of Merzouga is where we will end our journey, where we can go camel trekking amidst its shimmering dunes. We would have our delectable dinner and spend the night gazing up at the most breathtaking starry sky at a lovely camp in the desert.
Day 4: Sahara Desert Tour to Fez
On the fourth day, we will rise early to see and experience a breathtaking sunrise over the golden sands of an endless Sahara.
We continue our Morocco Desert Tours from Agadir towards Erfoud and the breathtaking views of Ziz Gorges after breakfast, giving you some free time to take a shower. After lunch in the ancient Berber settlement of Midelt, we will leave the sweltering Sahara behind and journey through the breathtaking scenery and towering cliffs of the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will go by Azrou, the most expansive Cedar Forest in the region, a wonderful Berber settlement.
To get some fresh air and play with the cunning little monkeys, we are going to take a stroll through the woods. We will next proceed to Ifrane, which is known as Morocco’s Little Switzerland. Later in the evening, we will go to Fes, where we will stay the night in an enthralling old Riad.
Day 5: Guided City Tour of Fes
After enjoying a delectable Moroccan breakfast to begin our delightful morning, we will begin our exploration of Fes, the oldest city in Morocco. Our staff would take you to the fascinating Royal Palace during our guided tour of Fes to admire its spectacular brass doors, which are flanked by exquisite zellige and carved cedar wood.
We will next take you to Jnane Sbile Gardens, which has lovely natural vistas and Moroccan fountains in the center, and The Mellah, the original Moroccan Jewish Quarter. Following that, we will meander around the ancient Medina’s winding lanes, which are adorned with the most exquisite handicrafts from Morocco. We will be appreciating the fascinating culture and architecture of one of the world’s oldest medinas. We will take you along as well.
Day 6: Chefchaouen – Meknes – Fez
On the final day of the journey, we will depart Fes and travel through Meknes and the historic Roman ruins of Volubilis on our way to the quaint city of Chefchaouen in the north.
We will continue to cross the breathtaking scenery of the Rif Mountains as we head towards Chefchaouen. When we get to the blue city, we will see the stunning Ras El Ma River, where the water gushes out of the mountain, before saying our goodbyes and concluding our tour.
