Our adventure will begin from Ouarzazate to Zagora before crossing Draa Valley to the Sahara of Merzouga where we will live some traditional experiences such as camel rides and spending the night in Berber Camp between dunes. Moreover, we will follow this road until Ouarzazate after traveling through several places. For example, there are Todra Gorges, Dades Gorges, and Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah.<\/p>\n

    Day 1: Ouarzazate \u2013 Ait Ben Haddou \u2013 Skoura, Kasbah Amridil \u2013 Valley of Roses \u2013 Dades Valley<\/h3>\n

    We shall embark on this journey from the prearranged location in Ouarzazate. The first stop will be the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village from the 13th century that has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will discover as we meander through its winding streets that this is a very beautiful place. Curiously, this location has been used for filming movies like Gladiator, Sahara, and The Kingdom of Heaven. Moving on, we will travel to the oasis of Skoura and stop at the immaculate Amridil Kasbah, where we will discover the purpose and significance of these structures. We will now be getting closer to the Dades River’s gorges with its breathtaking orography via the route of the thousand Kasbahs and the Valley of the Roses. Dinner and lodging will be in a Riad.<\/p>\n

    Day 2: Dades Gorges \u2013 Todra Gorges \u2013 Tafraout \u2013 Ramlia \u2013 Ouzina Desert<\/h3>\n

    We will depart the Dades Valley in the direction of the Gorges of Todra after breakfast. The 14 km long, Todra Gorges form a valley, which we will walk through to admire its formations and sheer walls. Next, we will head south and connect with the former Rally Paris Dakar route to reach the village of Ramlia and the Ouzina desert. Ouzina is a Berber village near the Algerian border, set in an amazing setting. Dinner and spending the night will be at the TGM Riad Ouzina.<\/p>\n

    Day 3: Ouzina Desert \u2013 Merzouga Desert<\/h3>\n

    Visit the village of Ouzina after breakfast, taking in the common oven, the gardens, etc. We will then search for a real nomadic family that travels the desert in search of food for their animals. We will have tea with them and enjoy their unique way of life, which will teach us about their culture and way of life in the desert. After this visit, we will make our way back to Erg Chebbi in the Merzouga desert via the former Rally Paris Dakar track. We will pass through the village of Khamlia, home to the black people of southern Africa, before arriving at Merzouga. There, we will eat lunch at “Pizza Berber” and listen to Gnawa spiritual music. Camels will lead us to our camp of James as we stroll through the magnificent sunset over Erg Chebbi’s great dunes. Following a delectable dinner, you will have the chance to take in a traditional Berber music show while admiring the firmament in the breathtaking Sahara desert. A night in a traditional nomadic tent, fully furnished<\/p>\n

    Day 4: Merzouga \u2013 Rissani \u2013 N\u2019Koub \u2013 Draa Valley \u2013 Ouarzazate<\/h3>\n

    Those who get up early today can take in a breathtaking dawn over the desert. We will begin our journey back to Ouarzazate after breakfast, passing through Rissani, the cradle of Morocco’s Alaouite dynasty, before traveling through the Berber villages of Alnif and N\u2019Koub and the Draa Valley to Agdez, where we will have lunch. After that, we will continue our four-day journey from Ouarzazate to the two deserts, Merzouga and Ouzina. It is also possible for us to arrive in Ouarzazate in the late afternoon, giving you enough time to catch your flight.<\/p>\n
